“flowergirls are so sweet”

Being a wedding celebrant I just love weddings but I just love to see the little flowergirls coming down the aisle throwing their roses out of their little baskets in front of the bridesmaids and the brides.

They are just so happy to be involved in such an occasion. Some of them get a bit overwhelmed so they just walk behind one of the bridesmaids.

Photographers can get some really interesting images of them at times, like picking up the confetti and throwing it at their sibblings. Or hiding under tableclothes eating cake!

I remember when I was about seven I was a bridesmaid myself for my Auntie in Ballarat and I still remember it to this day.

I had the most beautiful dress and slippers and flowers in my hair.
